Settings tab

The Debugger automatically saves the following window settings:
Attachable tab
The Attachable tab lists the debug listing directories. From this tab you can add and remove debug listing directories. The Debugger uses this list in attachable mode to locate the debug listing files. When the 4GL interpreter and the Debugger are on separate machines, the debug listing directories must be accessible to the Debugger machine via a mapped drive (Windows) or a mounted file system (UNIX).
Note: The Debugger working directory appears by default.Figure 3–21 shows the Attachable tab.

The Generate debug listings on 4GL Interpreter machine toggle box indicates the 4GL will generate the listing files automatically (“on the fly”) and put them in the current listing directory. The default is the current working directory of the 4GL interpreter.
You can generate the debug listing files either manually or automatically. For more information on generating debug listing files, see the "Debug listing files" section.
The Debugger automatically opens the Preferences dialog box to this tab if it is unable to locate a listing file for the attached process, so that you can identify files are located. For more information, see the "Debug listing files" section.
